LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy
Are you struggling with coming out in you gender or sexual identity?
Trying to fit in a society where you feel like you don’t belong?
Are you looking for a therapeutic space of acceptance and trust?
Sex, intimacy, and relationships are hard enough without the added stigma and struggle around your identity. For many, sexual orientation and identity may be the cause of depression, anxiety, and other emotional stressors. Others may want to work on other sexual and relationship issues but with a therapist with a sensitivity and awareness around LGBTQ+ issues.
Either way, we’ll work with you on your unique situation and life struggles. What if this part of your identity was a source of added empowerment, love, and connection? Our clinicians identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. We bring our own unique personal experience with many of the above issues. We bring our allyship and awareness of our privilege to the therapeutic relationship around identities where we may differ.
